Where is Spring?

Spring has already sprung,
But the snow and cold weather is still here,
So it feels as though it hasn’t begun.
I still hear the beautiful chirping from the birds though,
Which makes this season, still evidentially clear;
That warm weather should be near.
We need to be patient a while longer with Mother Nature,
Hoping that this cool weather soon bites the dust,
As we are eagerly waiting to experience the warm days
To walk, bike and such;
Soon hopefully spring will truly be here
And then summer in a few quick months will also appear.
To think how great this will feel
To have warmth, sunshine and flowers, those also do appeal.
Come spring, then come summer
We can enjoy the warm temperatures once again
And experience all the benefits,
Which make our lives a whole lot brighter.
