Truth and Lies

Why lie?
When you lie you’re not only hurting others but yourself.
It causes so much grief
And so much pain.
It makes people lose their trust in you.
When that trust is gone
It makes that love you once shared seem gone too.
You’re pushing away something that’s actually important to you.
No amount of lying is worth all that.
It will soon catch up to you.
It is never too late to turn your life around
And stop all those lies.
You should try and rebuild that relationship
Before that pain you caused becomes too great.
No one ever said it was going to be easy.
Anything that is really worthwhile takes a lot of work!
It may take some time to rebuild that trust.
But, it is all worth it in the end.
You will never look back,
With any regrets,
Of what you chose to do;
You will feel much happier for it.
Those lies are now forever gone
And being replaced with that love which is now
So very strong!
