The Lord Never Gave Up on Me

Thank God, the Lord never
Gave up on me,
For this others can also agree.
At times the troubles got so tough,
The difficulties were more than I could bear,
And that’s no bluff.
I wanted to flee,
But than I bent down on one knee
To pray for God’s helped.
God answered right away
So I could see,
Good things will be there for me.
I really thank the Lord for thee.
