It first started out as hours, then days, weeks
And then years
That you had gone missing
Filling my heart each moment with more fears;
I cannot give up on you
When there is still a glisten of hope;
Even though it has been so long ago since we spoke.
Many people around me tell me I should end my search
But I will continue to pray at home and at church.
I will search to the ends of the earth until you finally appear.
I try and remain strong even though you are not here
But, try as I might, behind closed doors I shed wet tears.
I know the longer you are gone it doesn’t look as good
But, I am praying for a miracle like any parent would.
Please GOD bring my loved one home soon
And if it isn’t possible
Please let them at least be found
So we can bring closure to our lives all around.
If I don’t get the chance to say goodbye
Please, GOD give them a hug from me
Until I too am called home, then I too will see
My loved one once again, but this time for eternity.

It is all in the news about
You missing
It feels like a nightmare that will never end.
How can I go on without you?
It was just the other day that
We talked
And now you are missing, our communication is blocked.
I will not give up without a fight
And I will continue to pray
That everything will be all right.
I cannot understand these things in life that happen.
You are a beautiful person
Who would never deserve to be taken.
Stay strong wherever you are
Because GOD is with you
No matter how far.
I pray one day soon
You will be home again
Sleeping in your room
But until that day finally happens
Our thoughts of you will only consume.
We will not give up without a fight
We pray that your captor finally sees the light
And sets you free
So you can be back home with your family and me.
Unless something tells us otherwise
I pray to GOD this is not goodbye.
No matter what happens
I know this is not the end
Because with GOD, HE gives us hope of a new beginning
When HE calls for us, my friend
As our lives our only here on lend
For HE promises a future in Heaven
Where a lifetime of happiness we can forever spend.

You never thought it could happen to you
That someone could take away what was precious and true.
As each day passes,
The fear grows
Because your loved one is still missing
And no one knows.
You can never give up hope,
Or you will never be able to cope.
You will search to the ends of the earth
Until your loved one is home
To which you gave birth.
No one should have to endure this type of pain.
It is so unfair, leaving
You feeling as though you could go insane;
Keep up the faith, keep up the fight
And always keep searching with all your might!
Remember though to always prepare, as in “Hoping for the best,
But in turn preparing for the worst;”
Sometimes our loved ones may find their way home to us first.
Miracles can happen like that
As our faith can bring us what
We may thirst.
But at times are lives may take a different turn
And things may not go as perfectly as planned
Because GOD may call them home, to return
To Heaven on HIS precious land;
This is a far better place,
Than here on earth
As everything is exquisite
For there is beauty and love
Surrounding them there
Where there are no more worries,
Or no more pain
And a lot for them to rejoice
Because they are home again;
It’s okay to cry
As you miss them as each day goes by.
But, just remember you will meet again
When GOD calls you home too
And be happy like you always knew.
For as you see our lives are only here on lend,
But the next time you meet
Your heart will be on the mend
Because GOD promises a future in Heaven
That will never end.
