Today started out pretty rough
And the remainder of the day
Was just as tough;
Could it get any worse you might say?
Try looking at my hair, there is loads of grey!
I stubbed my toe, bit my lip
And nearly fell as I did trip.
I then bit into my pizza,
Only to burn the roof of my mouth,
I thought my day ought to get better from here
But it did not appear,
As it only went south;
I later fought with my friend
Not meaning to offend.
But it was just that things got too hard
To even comprehend;
I didn’t mean to explode,
But everything going on in my life
Has been quite the load;
Here’s hoping that tomorrow will put me in a more positive mode.
Tomorrow I am going to start my day
Out in a different way
By praying to GOD first thing in the morning
And even throughout the day;
I will also thank HIM for my blessings before I go to bed each night
Because it is with HIM that our lives can be filled with joy and even light.
