Adoption

There are so many people out there
That cannot conceive a child,
So then choose to adopt.
They now become a parent,
Sometimes quite prompt.
It has been something they have always hoped or dreamed to be,
To finally become someone’s mom and dad your see;
So many children out there have been born from
Homes that cannot financially or emotionally support them,
So some of these parents have to make that hard decision to give their babies away,
They do this in knowing that they can have a better home to stay.
These parents want their babies to have a better life,
So that’s why they chose to make such a sacrifice
But this comes to them comes with such an emotionally price.
It is such a selfless act to give away what was so precious to them.
So that their loved ones will have a future that is bright;
To see this new happy family form is such a beautiful sight.
The new parents are excited to have this little person in their life,
As to become a big part of their family;
They can now give all their love they have been
So willingly ready to share.
Now both new parents and child can have that emptiness in their hearts filled,
Where once there was a void,
And now they can see that someone out there also cares.
Sometimes when there has been adoption from other countries
Some strangers give impolite stares at both parents and child.
This is so unfair to the little one, as they may already feel exiled.
Please avoid doing such a painful thing.
Instead rejoice and respect their feelings
So it is only happiness that you now will bring.
